Chelsea, barely leash broken at 7 months, attended her first dog show, the 1989 AWC National Specialty in Texas. She won a large 6-9 puppy class (30) and went on to BOW and an Award of Merit. Chelsea loved to show, the ringside excitement energized her. She went on to finish with three 5pt majors, and was shown only at AWC Regional shows.
